Frequently Asked questions
Who can get Hair Sprinkles and How long will they last?
Hair Sprinkles lasts a minimum of 9 months and up to 2 years on locs. Traditional Locs need to be at least 1 year mature (9 months minimum for a temporary installation), sisterlocks and microlocs need to be at least 6 months mature to get this service. Loose hair installations are temporary lasting 2-3 weeks (or in between shampoos/styles).
Can I shampoo my hair with Hair Sprinkles? How will this affect my hair routine?
Yes! You can shampoo your hair and continue your regular hair routine uninterrupted with Hair Sprinkles. This includes styles, color, treatments, maintenance & re-ties (for sister locs), sports activities etc. Iron use on hair is prohibited.
How long does an installation take?
Installation times can vary from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the service you schedule but prepare for a minimum of 30 mins for your appointment.
Are consultations required and included in services?
Yes, consultations are both required and included in our services. Before each appointment we conduct a short consultation to provide the best options specific to each client. For special events, photoshoots or wedding services inquire with us for a virtual consultation!
What are your rates?
All prices and rates for services are listed on our booking site. Rates can be based on but not limited to the length of the installation, the time it takes and or materials used. Please see booking link for specific rates.
